My mediums are pen, paint, plants, clay and fiber. With these I continue to learn, grow, and channel my expression while balancing refinement in my making.
I make from the heart. No two pieces are alike. Each one special in its own way. I let the feels from my heart and soul move through my hands into the pieces. I play with expressing and celebrating softness, joy, the sacred, and a deep devotion to Earth. I strive to let the materials —land, animal, or sea— tell the story, held by my loving craftsmanship.
My focus shifts with the seasons, and as these days grow cooler in the PNW, I’m outside welcoming the mist that hovers in the trees, listening for my neighbor great horned owls, and pausing to watch banana slugs. These are not just part of my process of making—these ARE the process.
