My mediums are paint, ceramics and fiber, but that may change. These are the ones I return to. The ones I have grown with. The ones that I have fallen in love with and entered that chaotic battle of ease, bliss, frustration, and sweetness, again and again. With each, I am channeling my expression while balancing refinement of my making.
I make from the heart. No two pieces are alike. Each one special in its own way. I make what I like and hope others like it too, and that the feels from my heart and soul—through my hands—are carried through into the piece. Softness, sacredness, joy, feminine, earth, are all key in my expression.
My focus shifts with the seasons, and as these spring days grow longer and warmer I’ll be working on the beach, in the woods, at my wheels, and my looms. Fiber art collections Ocean Life and Forest Floor are taking on lives of their own. Stay tuned!
